Later, I’ll show you all the products that came in my welcome package, but I was too impatient to wait to show you these Waffle Flower Social Media Stamps.

Let’s ignore my handwriting for a moment. Have you ever used stamps like this before? They’re made from a flexible polymer and come sandwiched between two clear sheets of plastic. Use Blitsy Stamps to Help Track Social Media in Your Bullet Journal | Zen of Planning | Planner Peace and Inspiration

When you want to use the stamp, you unstick it from the plastic and attach it to this acrylic block.

Then you stamp stamp stamp.

It could not be easier!!!

Easier than Drawing

Now, why would a bullet journal fanatic, such as myself, want to sully my journal with stamps you may ask? Well, I’ll tell you. The number 1 reason is time! I admire so many of you and your gorgeous, colorful spreads, but I just don’t have the time to be super creative (remember, I’m a working full-time, mother of three littles). And reason number 2? Lack of artistic talent! I can copy doodles with the best of them, but I lack the creativity bone apparently, and I’m ok with that. These stamps allow me to put a little pop of color in my bullet journal and they’re so cute!! I love them.

The acrylic block was too small for the arrow stamp, but that wasn’t a problem. I just grabbed a long eraser I had, stuck it to that and it worked perfectly. The arrows are a little bent because I didn’t stick it on straight to the eraser, but it gives them character, don’t you think? I will definitely be purchasing a larger acrylic block, though, because I foresee many more stamps in my future!

A word to the wise: See the nice yellow streak across the page below? Yes, well, I put the top to the ink pad on the page and there you go. Whoops!

It’s like the magical folks at Blitsy could read my mind. The colors are just perfect for me! In this Tim Holtz Distressed Ink four-pack, the colors are as follows: mustard seed, picked raspberry, spiced marmalade, and peacock feathers.

Here’s what the ink looks like up close. Don’t let the appearance of a brown ink pad fool you, it is a beautiful mustard color.

Tracking Social Media Stats in my Bullet Journal

Ok, how that I’ve shown you how gorgeous and easy these stamps are to use, let’s talk about how and why I’m using them. My instagram account, @showmeyourplanner has grown faster and bigger than I ever imagined. However, my blog, email list, and pinterest accounts are not keeping up. I’m kind of in denial about this and more than a little overwhelmed with it all, so I’ve been ignoring most of my stats.

I mentioned all of this to my favorite friends at Blitsy, and I think in order to give me a gentle push to be more intentional about everything difficult namely, blog, pinterest, email list, facebook page, they included these social media stamps in my Welcome Package so I could track all this stuff! Thanks Jessie and Kate!

After a bit of research and help from two of my favorite bullet journal whizzes (bohoberry and tinyrayofsunshine), I decided to use these two pages to track my stats. However, I chose to track by week because I’m terribly impatient and cannot wait until the end of each month to track my growth. I tend to lose motivation if I don’t keep a close eye on things.

SO, there you have it. My new social media tracking page, courtesy of the folks at Blitsy. I’m so honored and excited to become a Blitsy Ambassador and will share more and more of their awesome products in the next few days and weeks, so stay tuned!
